Cancellation and Refund:
1.) If you cancel your order you may be entitled to a refund based on our refund schedule outline below:
This delivery guarantee applies to orders scheduled to arrive the day before the event and on a weekday ; however, the guarantee is void for 'same day' deliveries and/or SAT deliveries. Our delivery guarantee is also void if you do not notify us of the missing package by 3 PM the day the shipment is supposed to arrive. No refunds given for recipient unavailability. The suggested time of delivery will be provided to you and is a commitment time for your area based upon the TOLL Priority service guide. There are occasional delays with couriers due to weather or other 'acts of God.'
2.) We reserve the right to cancel orders due to certain butterflies breeding events as described below. As we breed our butterflies naturally they are subject to matters that may affect their availability. Due to extreme weather, parasites, etc.
In the event we are unable to fulfil your order we will let you know as soon as possible and you receive a full refund. Mariposa Butterfly Releases will not be liable for any loss or damage other than that which you have paid for your as your order.
3.) You are responsible for personal acceptance of delivery of your butterfly order. Someone must be available to sign for your butterflies. If no one is available the courier is instructed to have them returned to us rather than let them sit outside and expire.
4.) We hand feed and exercise each butterfly prior to delivery so though we have never had any expire in transit, should this occur, please return the expired butterfly and we will refund you per butterfly.
5.) Please follow the basic care/transfer and release instructions that arrive with your order. If our instructions are not followed we cannot guarantee a successful release although we do guarantee that you will receive live and healthy butterflies for any butterfly order of any quantity and delivery. We also guarantee that they will arrive in time for your event or your money back.
6.) We will confirm your order within 7 days of payment received.
7.) A 50% booking deposit is required to secure your order.
